Well done to the small GBKA Squad that competed at the GB International Open 29th & 30th June 24.
The standard was excellent as always and we came away with 1 Gold, 4 Silver and a Bronze.

What a day , so proud of everyone today 15 of us and 2 dogs not easy doing Snowdon , thank you all those that's sponsored us we received over £1500 towards GBKA squad

GBKA took a small squad down to London to compete over 2 days in the WUKF British Open Championships.
Shown here are (from left to right):
Rebecca Cameron who won double Bronze medals in Senior Kata and Kumite.
John Cameron continued to his role as a World Chief Referee at the 2 day event.
Jasmin Thomas, Keeva Wignall and Ruby Owen who won Gold in Team Kata (15yrs to 17yrs) and are now British Champions.
Ruby Owen also achieved double Silver Medals in ShitoRyu Kata (14yrs to 15yrs, and 16yrs to 17yrs).
Darron McQuillan won a Silver in the Veterans Open Kata catagory.
